Why Mindbottling?
Everyone has searched the internet for hours looking for an answer to a problem, because they don't know a specific piece of jargon, or the word for something. You know what your problem is, and the idea of what you're looking for. The problem is that as a person who doesn't know, you don't know the right questions to ask, or the right way to ask a question. Mindbottling solves this problem by using the wisdom of the crowd to answer the question for you.
Mindbottling.com is a community where people find the answers to questions, answer questions and help others. People, who ask questions, get answers for free, and Bottlers (those who answer them) get rewarded for their help.
There are three ways that Bottlers can contribute to Mindbottling and get rewarded, and they can get rewarded in three ways.
Bottlers can contribute by:
- Answering questions by creating articles
- Linking new questions to existing articles
- Bringing new members to Mindbottling

Payment System
Here's how the Mindbottling payment system works:
A person (user) visits Mindbottling and asks a question. If that question already has an answer they are shown the article(s) that others say answer the question. If there isn't already an answer the user can create a question for bottlers to answer. Bottlers can see these questions. They can create an article that answers the question. We pay bottlers a share of the advertising revenue from the site. We determine bottlers share based on how many times their articles are viewed. Currently, we give bottlers 30% of the total revenue from the advertising on their pages. (This amount is subject to change at any time and is governed by the site terms and conditions)
Affiliate Program
We pay Bottlers for content by sharing the Ad Revenue received from advertisers on the site. The Bottler keeps getting rewarded on that content (as long as people are viewing it and the Bottler is in good standing) forever.
Here's how it works:
You refer a friend to become a Bottler through the "Refer a Friend" link on your Bottler home page (more ways to come soon!). Your friend has 30 days to sign up using the link that is provided to them in the email we send (if they don't sign up within 30 days you have to sign them up again).
Your friend is then rewarded based on their content. They get the same rate as (also called base earnings). You then get a 10% bonus based on your friend's base earnings.
Let's say your friend makes $100. You get a bonus of $10. Your friend still gets their $100 too - we don't deduct your $10 from them.
Additionally, you also get a bonus if your friend recruits someone who also has earnings on his content. The breakdown is this: Your friend (First level affiliate), 10% base earnings, your friends, friend (Second level affiliate) 5% base earnings. The structure looks something like this:

Our Values
We really like Google's "Don't Be Evil." We think that people will help others when sufficiently rewarded, and we understand that some want to just have "that warm glow" that comes from helping others.
You can help others and help the environment. You can make money and not be evil. Mindbottling gives you new ways to do this.
Founders Section
Mindbottling.com was formed by Ted Cory, Adam DiMuzio in August of 2007. They wanted to create a site that gave users useful information while rewarding the members who participated.
Essentially, they wanted to bottle the minds of everyone and put that knowledge into a format that the world could use. Thus, Mindbottling.
Each of the Founders brings a slightly different background to the table. Ted the serial entrepreneur and Adam the business professional.
